PUTTING THE LUST BACK IN WANDERLUST

A great vacation is always a heightened experience. When we anticipate it, we do so with a sense of possibility and adventure. When we look back on it, our memories are a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds, colors and textures. To capture that elevated feeling of traveling abroad for Dulles International Airport and its sister airport Reagan National, I tapped the talents of world-renowned artist Pietari Posti who created a series of stunning illustrations that captured the essence of a vintage national parks poster. Those illustrations were then used in out-of-home placements and brought to life for social, television and pre-roll through motion graphics. The idea was for would-be travelers to let their imaginations soar. The Dulles campaign simply gave their imaginations a headstart.
